Lombardians talking about Lombard. What do you love about Lombard?

The other day I was thinking, I wonder how much those “LIVESTRONG” wristbands costs. Turns out, not so much. I made 10 for about $1.40, if you make 500 they are .18 cents. So I made some for Hello Lombard. Look they even have a PURPLE our town color!

I got these at Wrist-Band.com I know who would have thunk it? I’m throwing this out there as an idea for supporting Downtown Lombard. Sell them to raise money or give them away to help show support.

I’ll buy the first 500!

Now what do you think the wrist-band should say?  Share your ideas here.

I have 8 more Hello Lombard wrist-bands if you want one just let me know I’ll be happy to send you one. Their rare only 10 of them have ever been made…

Lombard Art Scene

Look, I know there’s an ART scene out there in Lombard. There are some talented people living in here. Why don’t we hang out at The Corner House and art up this town?

I’m putting together this idea board. Where we can share ideas and make plans that could help the art scene and help make Lombard a more fun inspiring place to live.

If you’d like to contribute to the idea board. Just drop me a line! And I’ll add you to the the list!

Pump Up The Volume

One of the many times I was hanging out in Downtown I saw one of these traffic block-aids and it made me think.

You know Lombard has a pretty cool acronym for Village of Lombard (VOL).

You know what else Lombard has? A pretty cool place to have concerts.

Lombard already has movies in the park along with other events that include bands. Maybe Lombard could rebrand the concerts in the park as “Pump Up the Vol”

Seems like a fun thing to try and there’s lots of local bands around.

If you’d like to know more about what’s happening around town, you can download Lombard’s Activity guide right here.

Had a fun in downtown Lombard last night, hanging out with some friends at Bonton,  saw some hot rods at Lombard Cruise Nights and then some Gelato at The Corner House.  Oh and I bumped into Bill Mueller our Village President, he was kind enough to let me take a picture with him!

New Eats

If you haven’t picked up any steaks at Shannon’s lately you might have might have missed the new sign in the window two doors down.
